It is with regret that the Tenterfield Eisteddfod Association has had to make the very sad decision to postpone the 2021 Tenterfield Eisteddfod.

With restrictions ever changing (we note that Queensland has closed its’ border once more), we thought it was kinder to you, the competitors, to make a final decision at this time, rather than hesitate and have to cancel at the last moment.

We’re using the word ‘postpone’ as (Covid permitting), we’re planning to run the Eisteddfod in September next year (2022). In ‘normal times’, we wouldn’t run again until 2023, which we feel is too far away.

All being well, we hope to organise a concert later this year so that some of our local competitors will have a chance to perform the work they were preparing for the Eisteddfod. That will also provide us with the opportunity to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Eisteddfod.

ENTRY FEES

We would like to offer our competitors the opportunity to choose what happens to their entry fees.

Entry fees can be:
1. Refunded
2. Rolled over for next year’s Eisteddfod or
3. Donated to the Association.

You will need to advise us of your choice via this form which should, on completion, be emailed to: tenterfieldeisteddfod@gmail.com.

In the case of refunds, we will require your full bank details for this to happen.

Duos, Trios & Group refunds will be issued to the person who paid the fee to the Association.

Donations will not be converted to Entry Fees for the 2022 Eisteddfod.

Receipts will be emailed on request only.

In the meantime, we’d like to sincerely thank you for your continued support for
the Tenterfield Eisteddfod and hope that we see you performing with us in 2022.

Very grateful if you would share this information with your family and friends!

Our kindest regards
Tenterfield Eisteddfod Association
